Kim Montoya (Term end 2028)

President

Kim and her husband, Don, have lived in Tyrone since April 2021. Before that time, they lived in Grant County for 33 years. Don grew up in Silver City.

Between 1999 and 2002, Kim was the president of the Rosedale Water Association. They lived in the Rosedale area for about 26 years. During her tenure, she made some changes with the Board's blessing — from converting them to computer-based accounting to upgrading their meter reader practices. She and her husband are active members of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. She was the practice manager, financial manager, human resources person, and HIPAA compliance officer for her husband's medical practice. She also worked for the New Mexico State Corrections Department, and many years ago, for a big law firm in Portland, Oregon. Kim has a BA in English.

Kim is a team player and believes it is important to be involved and motivate others to get involved in the community. It's going to take time and energy to build a strong Tyrone community.

Jason Lombard (Term ends 2028)

Vice President

Jason and his girlfriend, Gail, moved to Tyrone in December 2025. He has a diverse background in several areas, ranging from caregiving to auto-parts and supply, site management, and volunteering in Fire and Rescue emergency services. He has experience in the solar PV industry. He holds a BS in Journalism and a minor in communications. He also holds an AA in Elementary Education. As a well-versed and life-skilled person, he brings to Tyrone an array of skill sets and a knowledge base. His primary skills are problem-solving, team collaboration, time management, and quality work. Jason is looking forward to becoming an involved member of the TCA Board and the Tyrone community.

Jennifer Accaira (Term ends 2028)

Treasurer

Jennifer and her husband Frank decided on a new adventure in May 2022 and moved from central Colorado, traveling in their camper. They lived at the Silver City KOA for six weeks until their home in Tyrone came on the market.

Jennifer worked in banking operations/accounting for approximately 19 years and enjoyed her career. Now she enjoys gardening, crocheting/crafting, and being semi-retired.

She will ensure the TCA is transparent and will answer any questions to ensure all owners are comfortable with what is happening here. She is a collaborator and ready to do her part to enhance what the Board can do for our beautiful community.

Merry Archunde (Term ends 2028)

Secretary

Merry moved from Albuquerque to Silver City in July 2017. She worked for a title company for 13 years, and then as a paralegal for 28 years. When she came to Silver City, she worked in insurance and property management.

She got married 3 years ago and moved to Tucson, where she worked in property management and as a realtor. She and her husband returned to Silver City in April 2025.

She was president of the American Legion Auxiliary and is still very active. She also assists with the Wreaths Across America mission.

She has been a missionary, and her husband was a full-time missionary to Thailand. They love the Lord!

We are excited to have Merry on the Board, especially with her cheery personality and vast life and career experience.

Diana Mason (Term ends 2027)

Board Member at Large

Long-time resident Diana Mason, brings her insight from "what it was" to help us dream of "what it could be". During her time on the Board, she managed the Tyrone Library, and arranged for the books to be donated to Friends of the Library in Silver City and to the Bayard Library. Diana has a great attitude, sense of humor, and is willing to help with whatever is asked. She lives in Tyrone with her husband, Fred, and son Jesse.

Diana has a Master's degree in education from WNMU and is a born helper.
